Words on a Tree -arlene s bice
Words that sparkle, shine
gleaming in the dark
lit by candles
or
tiny white lights
words that endorse
encourage a sad face
emboldened
by a hug
or
pats on the back
words from sheet music
making you sing
notes shooting out
or
imbedded under skin
words printed, lasting
read over and over
in wee books
or
in letters kept forever.
“Imbedded under skin.” That’s a great image, Arlene. Love the tree. Are those Cat’s Meow houses?
Yes, i sold a ton of them in my shop and had several custom ones made of historical homes/businesses in my town. some customers were crazy for them.
I love them! I have over 200 pieces (mostly from traveling) and used to be in the Collector’s Club. I haven’t seen them in years.
They were hot items awhile back and probably will be again. Many things are cyclical. I loved them as i love miniatures, though now i give most of my things away. I keep trying to downsize-an age thing I think. But i’m happy to hear you enjoy them.
